Front Range Recording Artist Mike Schikora teaming up with
Nashville elite for third CD!

BAILLIE & THE BOYS!
After his Nashville
artist showcase last April, Mike was approached by Michael
Bonagura and Kathie Baillie of the country vocal group Baillie
& The Boys, to record his 3rd CD at their studio in
Franklin, TN, just south of Nashville.
Baillie & the Boys is an American country music
group that gained prominence in the late 1980s. The band's
original lineup consisted of Kathie Baillie (lead
vocals), her husband, Michael Bonagura (guitar, harmony
vocals), and Alan LeBoeuf (bass guitar, harmony vocals).
Baillie & the Boys has recorded five studio albums
and charted ten Top-40 singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot
Country Singles & Tracks charts (between 1987 and 1991).
The trio first found work singing harmony vocals on singles
for Ed Bruce, Dan Seals and Randy Travis,
and Bonagura co-wrote Marie Osmond's single "There's
No Stopping Your Heart". In 1987, Baillie &
The Boys were signed to a record deal on the RCA Records
label. Their self-titled album was released that year, producing
three Top 20 singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles
(now Hot Country Songs) charts. Turn The Tide,
their second album, was released a year later. It produced
four straight Top 10 hits on the country charts (including
"(Wish I Had a) Heart of Stone",
their highest-charting single).
 Baillie
& the Boys still perform regularly and have been
keeping busy in the studio writing and producing a new CD
for themselves as well as producing a select list of new
artists such as Herrick and now Mike Schikora.

Another aspect is his songwriting! Last year Mike teamed
up with Nashville based Keaton Music Ventures in pitching
his songs to major artists looking for their next big hit!
The response has been overwhelming and very positive!
Mike's music has been catching the ears of music execs from
major label A&R reps, producers like Dan Huff,
to artists like George Strait, Dierks Bentley,
Reba, Wynonna, Billy Ray Cyrus, Darius
Rucker, Diamond Rio, Kix Brooks, Scotty
McCreery of American Idol, Thompson Square,
Easton Corbin, Pam Tillis, Martina McBride,
Jason Aldean, Bucky Covington, and many other
established and new artists. It's only a matter of time
until we hear his songs on the radio released by major artists
if not by Mike himself! Mike as an artist has also caught
the eye's (and ears) of some notable industry heavy star-makers!
Schikora is the real deal—a dying breed of ranchers/cowboys
and a Rocky Mountain horseman. He rode his horse twice over
the Continental Divide, started a Half Arabian Sport horse
breeding business and continues to write songs for his publishing
company, Tuck And Go Music.
 He
stays humble and true to his country roots with musical
influences including Chet Atkins, Floyd Cramer, Boots Randolph,
Billie Holiday and The Judds.
